Making Keto Pizza always feels like I’m getting away with something. It looks like pizza, smells like pizza, tastes like pizza — but somehow dodges all the carbs that usually come with pizza. Every time I pull it out of the oven, I get that moment where I think, “This shouldn’t be allowed, but I’m glad it is.”
I start with the crust, and that’s where the magic happens. Cheese, almond flour, an egg — it’s basically the culinary version of a loophole. It mixes together into a dough that shouldn’t make sense but absolutely does. Once it’s pressed out and baked, it turns into a golden, sturdy base that’s ready for whatever toppings I throw at it.
The sauce and cheese go on next, and that’s when it really starts looking like the real deal. Pepperoni, veggies, or whatever I’m in the mood for — it all works. The best part is how fast it comes together. By the time the cheese melts and the edges crisp, it looks like something I’d happily order from a pizza place that charges extra for “artisanal crust.”
And that first bite always delivers the same quiet nod — the one that says, “Yep… this is exactly what Keto Pizza should taste like.”
That’s why I love making Keto Pizza. It’s quick, it’s satisfying, and it turns low‑carb ingredients into something that feels like a cheat meal without actually being one.
